Most of the Desk Life community is based in London, so here you’ll find exciting networking events and workshops that I’ll be attending, or any that I think are interesting even if I can’t make it. Check them out below and if you sign up let me know so I can come say hello!
Please note: I have no affiliation with the below events, I simply include them because they sound inspiring and educational for freelancers and those running their own small business.
18th: Blogger? Vlogger? Podcaster? Shoreditch Radio are hosting this Performance Bootcamp and it sounds perfect for you content creators out there.
20th: We’ve been shouting about the Epson EcoTank pop-up coworking space that’s open for September and October only, and this Instagram Workshop is a great way to dive into the festivities they have going on there – plus it’s FREE!
21st: TechHub are offering any freelancers working in tech, data, product, design, digital marketing or communication the chance to come for a free Friday trial at their co-working space in Moorgate. Check it out here. FREE!
21st: The Epson pop-up is packed with great events over the next couple of months, and I’m especially interested in the SME Finance Masterclass – Tax for Start-Up Businesses. FREE!
26th: Epson have done it again! Their event ‘Entrepreneurial Story: The highs & lows of starting a new business‘ will be on at their pop-up workspace, so whatever stage you are at in your entrepreneurial story, it sounds like this could be for you. Also FREE!
12th: The Professional Copywriters’ Network are hosting the Copywriting Conference 2018, and though it’s pretty expensive (and by pretty expensive we mean VERY), any budding copywriters out there may find it useful.
14th: Our friends at Ladies Who Launch are hosting another of their amazing brunch events, and this one is in collaboration with Jennifer Nadal and Gillian Anderson, authors of ‘WE: A Manifesto for Women Everywhere’.
20th: Epson’s pop-up workspace have been putting on a lot of events for mums recently, and their event ‘Juggling entrepreneurialism alongside parenthood‘ sounds like another awesome one for those with a family who are running a business.
30th: The Association of Independent Professionals and the Self-Employed are hosting ‘Finances for Freelancers‘, an event that sounds literally perfect for any Desk Life member.
Do you have any other events on your radar? Let me know so I can share them here.
